Our Cayman Cottage – 7-Bedroom Villa in East End, Grand Cayman

Limestone floors run through the main living areas, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls keep the ocean visible from most of the ground floor rather than confined to one room. The game room is a separate space from the main living area, giving the property somewhere for guests to be indoors without just watching TV in the living room. The on-site spa adds a wellness option that most similarly sized villas in the area don't have.

The infinity pool is positioned so the horizon line blends with the Caribbean Sea beyond it — a deliberate design choice rather than just a pool with a view. Ipe decking surrounds it, with sun loungers set up along the edge. From the pool deck, it's a short walk down to the private sandy beach, which is the more notable feature here given how much of East End's coastline is rock rather than sand.

Seven en-suite bedrooms accommodate the villa's 20-guest capacity, with several rooms facing the ocean directly and including their own private terraces. The remaining rooms are set up for flexibility — some sized for couples, others for two guests sharing — with blackout shades throughout for guests adjusting to island light.

This villa sits in East End, the quieter eastern end of Grand Cayman — expect close to an hour's drive from George Town or Seven Mile Beach. In exchange you get a private sandy beach, which isn't a given on this stretch of coast, where much of the shoreline is ironshore rather than sand.
