Cayman Kai occupies the peninsula alongside Rum Point on the island’s north shore, a low-density stretch of beachfront and canal-front homes with no resorts and very little traffic. Villas divide between properties directly on the sand, waterfront houses on the canals where the water is at the dock rather than a beach, and pool-centred homes set slightly back. Rum Point’s beach club and the Starfish Point sandbar are both a short drive, and the diving on the north wall is among the island’s best.
